The printer I use at home is an HP. I wanted something that was reliable, I wasn’t looking for the least expensive printer. In the past, I’ve purchased the least expensive printer and was very disappointed with the quality of the printing. After researching printers for my home office, I found the HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color M251nw Wireless Laser Printer. I chose the black printer, it fit in better with my office colors at the time.
This printer is quick to start up, but a little noisy. The print quality is amazing! I also love the fact that I can connect to the printer wirelessly from my desktop computer and laptop with ease. The paper tray holds enough paper for any job that I need to complete at home. If I run out of paper, it is easy enough to fill the paper tray. The touch screen LCD display is so easy to see and use! There are also features you can set to be able to print to your printer from any location. I haven’t had a need for this feature so I’m not exactly sure how it works. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase of the HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color M251nw Wireless Laser Printer.
We recommend Hammermill – Cover Stock, 80lb. This is cost effective and has a heavy enough weight for invitations, business cards, thank you card, flyers and more. My favorite feature with the Hammermill 80lb stock is that it doesn’t get stuck in the printer. It isn’t too thick to go through my home office laser jet printer.
There are many types of paper. The two most popular kinds you’ll see is gloss coated and matte coated papers. If you want your finish printed product to have a writable surface, I would suggest using a matte finish. Heavy gloss finishes make it difficult to write on.
Gloss coated paper
Gloss paper is typically used for flyers and brochures as it has a high shine. As the ink dries well there is no need for a seal varnish as the ink does not rub off.
Matte coated paper
Matte paper is the opposite to gloss – it is coated with a matt finish to produce a paper that isn’t shiny, preventing glare. This type of paper is perfect for reports, flyers and leaflets.
By far this package of sticker paper is the best deal for sticker paper. I was very excited when I found this solution on how to download printables and print as stickers! I have been printing my own “thank you” stickers every since.
